Beautiful Polonova hand-screen-printed and velvet gloves based on art historical sources - Renaissance pomegranate patterns, Medieval illuminated manuscripts, 19th century Lace, Middle Eastern embroidery, the work of Klimt and Mondrian. We love them!

Fabio Novembre found inspiration for his curvaceous seating from a biblical passage from Genesis:The Lord God crafted man from the earth and blew into him the breath of life and man was alive. And then the Lord God took a rib that he had taken from the man and from it crafted a woman and lead the woman unto the man. Now both the man and his wife were naked, and they felt no shame. Him & Her are born directly from the ideas behind the Panton Chair. An evolution of the hermaphroditic original, declined into the harmony of the two sexes. They assume sculpted forms like naked models of seduction but they feel no shame.

I know, this is old news - but I have never posted it anywhere & I must pay my respects for my ever present desktop image which I am so thankful for. For anyone who has eaten the whole box, or bag, or carton the photographs in this series make light of our secret binges. Here, the consequences of indulgence are tabloid or monster movie deaths. Daniela Edburg’s Drop Dead Gorgeous both mocks and satisfies our cravings
