Galliano is such an artist, he is a master, a true honest to god living master. I've not been so impressed with any artist, living or dead since college. That is saying alot because I am an avid art researcher, I read about art every day of my life, I stay up way too late just devouring everything out there. Galliano's recent-ish deparure from Dior was inspiring and brave. (Lee McQueen and Christian Lacroix as well) With these 3 revolutionary designers departing from established houses of French Couture, it's really exciting to think about what is coming.
